Cacoch - A Mayan God of Creation

Cailleach - "Mother of all" in part of Scotland.  Also known as Scotia or Skadi, she is depicted as an old hag with wild bear's teeth and boar's tusks.  She is believed to be a great sorceress, and is also believed to be the creator of the Earth.

Canan Chul Chan - "Big Star"  Mayan Guardian of the Holy Sky.

Caridwen - Welsh-Celtic Goddess.  Mother of Taliesen, greatest and wisest of all the bards, therefore she is patron of poets.  Caridwen corresponds with Brigit.  She is connected with wolves, and her cults date back to the Neolithic era.  She was originally a corn Goddess.

Carmen (Carmina) - Italian Goddess of spell casting and enchantments.

Castor and Pollux - Twin Roman Deities associated with the sea, the Roman equivalents of Hellenic Kastor and Polydeukes.

Ceres - Roman Goddess of Agriculture and the Harvest, the Divine source of Life energy.  Ceres is responsible for seasonality in abdicating her Attribute during Winter, the time when her daughter Proserpina spends in the Underworld with Pluto.  Corresponds to the Greek Goddess Demeter.

Ceridwen - Welsh Goddess of Nature, the Great Mother, she has a Cauldron of Inspiration, which symbolized the reproductive powers of the Earth.

Cernunnos - "The Horned One"  Celtic God of Fertility, Life, Animals, Wealth and the Underworld.  He is worshipped all over Gaul, and his cult spread into Britain as well.  Cernunnos is depicted with the antlers of a stag, and sometimes carries a purse filled with coins.  The Horned God is born at the Winter Solstice, marries the Goddess at Beltane, and dies at the Summer Solstice.  He alternates with the Goddess of the Moon in ruling over life and death, continuing the cycle, of death, rebirth, and reincarnation.

Chaitanya - Hindu beggar God.

Chama - Hindu God of young love.

Charities - The three Roman Goddess of peace and happiness.  Corresponds to the Greek Goddess, the Graces.

Chernobog - "The Black God"  West Slavic God of Evil, Grief, and Woe.  His legend is one source of information for the music of Moussorgsky's "Night on Bald Mountain."

Chernogolov - "Black Head"  Slavic God of Misfortune who was representative of a man with a black head and sliver moustaches.

Chitra - Hindu Goddess of Misfortune.

Chitragupta - Hindu recorder of the actions of men, a judge who decided whether men would go to Heaven or Hell.

Circe - The daughter of Hecate, and the Goddess of Magick.  She changed Odysseus' crew into pigs, even after she restored the men to their original form, the hero was so enchanted by her that he remained on her island in the Mediterranean Sea for a year more.

Cit Chac Coh - "Father Red Great Puma"  The Mayan Lord God of War.

Clotho - One of the Greek Goddess of Necessity, the Fates.  The Roman called them the Morae.

Cobel Cab - Mayan Mistress of the Earth.

Comus - Italian God of revelry, feasting, drinking, and the "pleasures of the night."

Consus - Roman God of secret plans and conspiracies.

Copia - Italian Goddess of Abundance and Plenty.

Cordelia - Welsh Goddess of Summer flowers.  Her name means "Blossom of the flowering seas."  She is the daughter of King Llyr, she corresponds to Venus and Proserpina.

Corvus - Italian messenger of the Gods.  "The Trickster God"  Also known as the Raven.

Cupid - Roman God of Love and Sexual Passion, son of Venus.  Corresponds with the Greek God, Eros.
